Delete your Vachix account and data

Applies to the Vachix website and the Vachix Android app (com.vachix.vachix_app).

You can delete your account in two ways — inside the app or on the web if you can no longer sign in. Either way, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete inside the app

1. Open the Vachix app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Read the confirmation and tap Delete account again.

Your account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out at once — your sign-in stops working straight away. All of your data is then permanently erased within 30 days, as described below.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address registered to your account:

• To: support@vachix.in
• Subject: Delete my Vachix account
• Include: the email address on your account, so we can locate and verify it

We verify the request comes from the account owner. We acknowledge within 48 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• your account record — email address and name;
• your practice history — session transcripts, scores, feedback, streaks, and usage data;
• your stored push-notification token.

Voice recordings are processed transiently to produce text transcripts and are never stored by us, so there is no separate audio store to delete. See the Privacy Policy.

What is retained, and why

• Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. The link to your account is removed, and these records contain no name or email address.
• Security audit entries are kept as an anonymised record that an action occurred, without your identity attached.
• Crash diagnostics collected by Firebase Crashlytics are pseudonymous — tied to an app instance, not to your account — and are deleted automatically by Google within its own retention window, up to 90 days.
